The Rochester Red Wings are a minor league baseball team located in Rochester, New York. They were founded in 1899 and have been playing in their current stadium, Frontier Field, since 1997. They are a member of the International League and are the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals.

History

It features a grass playing surface, a state-of-the-art video board, and unique features such as a “Flower City” mini-golf course and a playground for children.

Fan Support

The Red Wings have a dedicated fan base, with the team consistently ranking in the top 10 in attendance among all of Minor League Baseball. They are known for their creative promotions, such as “K-O The Kidney” night, where they raised awareness for kidney disease, and “Bark in the Park,” where fans can bring their dogs to the game.
