Plot
Mike Wazowski has been fascinated with the world of scaring since he was a little monster. He dreams of attending Monsters University and becoming a top scarer. However, once he arrives at the university, he realizes that he might not have what it takes. He’s constantly belittled by Sulley, who comes from a long line of famous scarers and believes that he’s already an expert.
The two monsters soon find themselves competing against each other in the Scare Games, a series of challenges that test their scaring abilities. They team up with a group of misfit monsters to form a fraternity and try to win the games. Along the way, they discover that each of them has their own strengths and weaknesses, and that together, they can achieve great things.
Characters
Mike Wazowski is voiced by Billy Crystal, and Sulley is voiced by John Goodman. The two actors have great chemistry and bring the characters to life in a way that’s both funny and endearing. The rest of the cast is also fantastic, with standout performances from Helen Mirren as Dean Hardscrabble and Nathan Fillion as Johnny J. Worthington III.
