Matthijs de Ligt is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for the Netherlands national team and Juventus. He was born on August 12, 1999, in Leiderdorp, Netherlands.

Early Life and Career

De Ligt began his football journey at a very young age, joining the local club Quick Boys when he was just six years old. He showed great potential from an early age and quickly progressed through the ranks in the youth system of Ajax.
