Fort Myers Mighty Mussels is a Minor League baseball team based in Fort Myers, Florida. They are a Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Minnesota Twins and a member of the Florida State League. The team previously played under the name Fort Myers Miracle until 2019 and changed to their current name to honor the city’s nickname “City of Palms” and the Florida state shell animal.

History

Fort Myers Miracle was founded in 1992 and played their games at the Lee County Sports Complex. They won Florida State League championships in 2014 and 2018. In 2019, they rebranded themselves as Fort Myers Mighty Mussels to bring a fresh look and energy to the team.
