Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian actress and author, known for her roles in popular television series and blockbuster movies. Born on August 3, 1979, in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada, she was raised in a devout Christian family and initially pursued a career in international relations and political science at the University of British Columbia. However, a chance encounter with a Ford Modeling Agency scout at a local coffee shop led her into the world of modeling and eventually acting.

Lilly began her acting career with small roles in TV series and films, including “Smallville” and “Freddy vs. Jason”.
