Emma Roberts is an American actress and singer born on February 10, 1991, in Rhinebeck, New York, to actor Eric Roberts and Kelly Cunningham. She is the niece of actress Julia Roberts and became interested in acting at a young age due to her family’s involvement in the industry.

Roberts started her acting career in 2001, at the age of nine, in the TV movie “Blow.” She gained recognition for her role as Addie Singer in the Nickelodeon series “Unfabulous” from 2004-2007.
