Elk, also known as wapiti, is one of the largest species of the deer family found in North America and Eastern Asia. These magnificent animals are known for their impressive antlers and their ability to adapt to a wide range of environments.

Physical Appearance

However, some subspecies of elk, such as the Roosevelt elk, are considered to be threatened or endangered. In Asia, elk populations are declining due to habitat loss and hunting, with some subspecies listed as vulnerable or endangered.
