Buu

Buu is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball Z series created by Akira Toriyama. Buu is a pink, obese, and childlike creature with the power to absorb people and beings and take on their characteristics. Buu is introduced as one of the main antagonists of the series, but later becomes a supporting character in the anime/manga.

Buu’s origins start with an ancient evil wizard by the name of Bibidi who created Buu to eradicate life throughout the universe. However, Bibidi’s death left Buu without guidance, leading to unpredictable and destructive behavior. In his earliest form, Buu was a large grey creature who was unable to differentiate between good and evil. Over time, however, he evolved into his more recognizable forms, dividing into different entities through a series of transformations.

Buu has four main forms throughout the Dragon Ball Z series: Innocent Buu, Pure Buu, Evil Buu, and Super Buu. Innocent Buu is the original form of Buu, while Pure Buu is an even more innocent form created when Innocent Buu released all of his evil, which manifested into a new form called Evil Buu. Super Buu is the culmination of Innocent Buu and Evil Buu’s absorption into one being.

One of the defining characteristics of Buu’s evolution is his ability to absorb other beings and take on their personality traits. For example, through his absorption of the Great Saiyaman, Buu gained the ability to speak English and became more intelligent. Buu also absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo, which resulted in the development of new powers such as the ability to transform into a chocolate ball.
